Pattison shooting leads to one person hospitalized

A July 14 shooting has lsed to the hospitalization of Danielle M. Toups who was transported to Memorial Hermann’s downtown Houston hospital after a possible road rage incident invoving gunshots fired between drivers in vehicles traveling on FM 359 and FM 1458 in Pattison.

During the gunfire between vehicles, multiple other automobiles were struck by small arms fire and one vehicle crashed.

Toups was transported by Lifeflight and was last reported in stable condition with a gunshot wound to the face. Weapons were found in her vehicle by investigators. Waller County Chief Deputy Manny Zamora said Toups was a suspect in the case.

The Waller County Sheriff’s Office and Texad Rangers are investigating the incident. Investigators are still looking for the Black driver of a maroon SUV and a smaller tan or beige SUV with an unknown driver. Investigators believe one of the vehicles fired at law enforcement vehicles that responded to the incident.
