Patricia Kelley Fulco passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022, in Katy, TX. She lived 95 years on this earth and will continue to live in the hearts of all who loved her.

She is survived by her children, Dianne Callender; Faye and Ronnie Pembo, Neal and Anna Mae Fulco, Teresa and Guy Gibson, Lisa Fulco, brother Nelson Kelley and; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sammy A. Fulco; parents, Ruth and Evan Kelley; and her in-laws, Sam and Vivian Fulco; sisters, Betty Kennedy and Joy Walter.

Patricia Kelley Fulco was born on July 3, 1927 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Evan and Annie Todd Kelley. She grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana. She graduated from Fair Park High School.
The War affected her family, like so many others. After graduating she joined the U.S. Cadet Nursing Corp., attended Centenary College for Medical Training. After 1 year she went New Orleans where she attended LSU and Tulane Medical School. She later obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Centenary College in Louisiana.

She was later to meet the love of her life, again, Sammy A. Fulco. They had been kindergarten sweethearts while attending Allendale elementary school in Shreveport. They married in 1967. She lived most of her adult life in the Houston and Katy areas. She was a faithful member of St. Bartholomew Church. She loved bible studies and singing in the choir.

Patricia loved the mountains, oceans and Aviation. They vacationed every year in the mountains of Colorado or the beaches of Florida.

She was a long time member of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), Chapter 774 in Brookshire, TX. She was recognized by the Nation EAA for her outstanding work with their Young Eagles program. She was presented with an award at the Oshkosh Airadventure by Chuck Yeager. She and Sammy owned their on airplane and flew together often.
Patricia will be buried in Shreveport, La., next to her husband on November 19, 2022.
