Throwing the Skeletons out of the Closet
The Curtis Brown Foundation and STORM (Strategic Treatment Options and Recovery Ministry) are hosting a Throwing the Skeletons out of the Closet conference to help people fight addiction, abuse, PTSD, suicide, pornography, and depression. It will be held June 22 starting at 9 a.m. at Church of the Living waters, 4808 Airport Ave, Rosenberg. For more information, visit curtisbrown.org/conference.

Hoff family reunion
The Hoff family reunion will be held Sunday, June 23, at the home of Art and Debbie Wammel, 1748 Highway 159 West in Bellville. A potluck meal will begin at 12:30 p.m. For more information, call Beverly Hoff at 979-865-5585.

Sealy KC June Music Fest
On Sunday, June 23, Charles & the Fabulous Four will provide the music from 1-5 p.m. The event starts with a fried chicken dinner at 11 a.m. and then barbecue sandwiches will be served after 2 p.m.  Sponsored by the Sealy K.C. Council 3313, Sealy Columbus Club Hall.  

Sweet Cakes Day
On Tuesday, June 25, Huddle House in Sealy will be serving up free Old-Fashioned Buttermilk Sweet Cakes in honor of the second annual National Sweet Cakes Day. The offer is extended exclusively for Huddle House Email and SMS club members and Huddle House social media followers who present the offer on their phone or with a printed email. Eagle Lake Rice Field Day
The 45th annual Eagle Lake Rice Field Day is scheduled for 4 p.m. June 25 at the David R. Wintermann Rice Research Station on Farm-to-Market Road 102 just north of Eagle Lake. For more information, call 979-234-3578 or 979-732-2082.
