Pickle Point LLC announced the launch of its new pickleball concept which is set to become a game changer in the rapidly growing industry, the company said in a February press release. The company’s new facility, now under construction, will be located at 23437 Clay Road in Katy.

“Our facility is roughly 30,000 sq. ft. with 20,000 sq ft comprising of eight AI-powered smart indoor courts and 10,000 sq. f.t of four outdoor courts with family and pet friendly gazebos where we plan to host food truck events and live music,” said Aeta Moin, co-founder of Pickle Point. ”We also have a wellness area which includes the latest trend of cold lounge, hydro massage and sauna. We welcome members and non-members both, and are a unique place to hold corporate and private events.”

In addition to providing premium playing conditions such as cushioned well-spaced-out courts and premium lighting, the new concept is focused on providing the next-generation pickleball and wellness experience by incorporating smart courts powered by state-of-the-art AI-based technology as well as a holistic Re-Energize zone designed from the ground up for total wellness.

“Curating the most vibrant pickleball community is our mission,” said the company in a press release. “As a result, the next-generation features are complemented by a number of social activities and amenities to create the most vibrant communities.”

According to Moin, the Katy location – the first for the company – is planned to open in the spring of this year, and is set to become the largest indoor and outdoor pickleball facility in the area.
