Humble Grounds Coffeehouse, which has had a location at 11525 S. Fry Rd. in Fulshear since 2020, has added a second location, now in old Katy at 1512 Avenue C. Owners Becca and Garrett Speed remodeled the Katy location inside and out before opening the shop in early December. The pair are strong supporters of the Fulshear Katy Area Chamber of Commerce where the company often supplies the coffee for the organization’s monthly breakfast meetings at Parkway Fellowship Church at 27093 FM 1093 in Richmond.

“Our dream for Humble Grounds was to have a space where we could be intentional with creating relationships within our local communities of Fulshear, Katy, Richmond and surrounding areas,” according to the company website. Coffee beans are locally sourced to provide a wide variety of favorites such as caramel macchiato, ice Horchata latte, or a peach green tea. The café serves both breakfast and lunch, with specially made breakfast items, panini-style lunch sandwiches, small bites and pastries.
