Cryer wasn’t the only Morton Ranch graduate to be a part of a team that made the Tournament. Eddie Lampkin was part of a TCU squad made the NCAA Tournament for the second straight season, although he will not be with the team for the tournament.
Lampkin was plagued by injuries this season and played through injuries on the court. He did not take part in the Big 12 Tournament and announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Monday.
TCU earned a No. 6 seed in the tournament and will play the winner of the play in game between Arizona State and Nevada. The winner of that game will advance to play the winner of Gonzaga and Grand Canyon in the second round.
Lampkin was limited to playing in 24 games this year, averaging six points and six rebounds per game while shooting 54% from the field. But Lampkin made the decision to leave the TCU team before the Big 12 Tournament.
