Lillian Helen Currens passed away July 10, 2019, after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth of 70 years.
Helen was born in San Felipe, Texas, in 1925 to Earl and Agnes Sloan. Helen was the mother of three children, Roy Konviska of South Houston, Linda Currens of Katy, and Kenneth Jr. of Katy.
In her lifetime she was active in several projects, namely the Sealy Lions Club of which she was very active.
Helen has several grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
When able, her passion was gardening, daylilies, roses, and potted plants. She collected antique dolls.
Hellen resided 30 years in South Houston and then moved back home to San Felipe in 1979 to live the rest of her life where she was born. She was a loving and caring person and was deeply loved by her family and everyone that knew her. She will be truly missed.
