Registration remains open for Katy ISD’s Community Education Program courses for October courses, according to a KISD announcement. The courses are offered to those interested in learning a new hobby or improving skills.
According to the district’s website, the Fall 2021 course catalog includes opportunities to improve computer skills, take dance lessons, obtain a GED, learn about real estate and several other educational opportunities. Courses vary in price and cost information is available through the district’s course calendar at www.katyisd.org/dept/ce.
To register, those 18 years of age and older may create an account online at https://katyisd.revtrak.net/ by providing a valid email address, password preference and payment method. Once logged in, select the Community Education tile on the website and select the desired courses. Contact the Community Education Department at CommunityEducation@katyisd.org or by calling 281-396-6365.
Registration is permitted up to the day of class, provided the class is not full; however, a $10 late fee will be assessed for payments and registrations received three days prior to class or later.
KISD has offered the program for more than 30 years and has had more than 3,000 participants according to the district’s website.
