Kim Royce Mansell, a life-long Katy, Texas resident, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at the age of 64. He is survived by brother Monty Mansell; brother Denny Mansell and his wife Paige Mansell along with his nieces Courtney Bowie and Brittany Mansell; his great nephew Cooper Middleton and great niece Waylynn Bowie.
He is preceded in death by his parents M. L. “Rusty” Mansell and Lillian “Pee-Wee” Mansell and brothers Scotty and Robin Mansell.
Kim Mansell graduated from Katy High School in 1976. He joined and proudly served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corp from 1976 to 1982. He served as a sniper – rifle and pistol expert and left the Corp, obtaining an Honorable Discharge. Kim will be remembered as a strong willed, outdoorsman who enjoyed collecting and building.
A small graveside service will be held Thursday, September 23, at 10:30 a.m. at Katy Magnolia Cemetery in Katy, Texas.
