Actor and producer Kevin Sorbo (left) meets with The Bible Seminary’s archeologists Craig Evans (center) and Scott Stripling (right) prior to the fundraiser gala for the school held Friday, August 16 at Grace Fellowship Church, 2655 S. Mason in Katy. The 65-year-old Sorbo, a pro-life conservative Christian who is best known for his role in the television series “Hercules,” spoke on “Winning the Culture Wars,” detailing what he believes to be Hollywood’s negative influence on American families and institutions. Sorbo said that he had been blacklisted in Hollywood because of his religious beliefs. Over 120 guests attended the Western-themed event.
