Keep Katy Beautiful
Keep Katy Beautiful conducted its annual “Trash Off” event on Saturday, April 6th at Katy’s First Baptist Church, 600 Pin Oak in Katy. The free recycling event allowed area residents to bring in electronics, paper, paper bags, plastic bags, scrap metal, appliances, and plastic packaging for proper disposal. The Lions Club also collected prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses. Sponsors included National Iron & Metals LLC, West Houston Document Destruction, PCL Construction, the Don’t Mess with Texas program and Boy Scout Troop 1103, in addition to the City of Katy and Katy’s First Baptist Church.
