Katy ISD will be hosting a virtual job fair for potential teachers in preparation for the 2021-22 school year. Administrators from Katy ISD elementary and secondary campuses with vacancies will be online for text and video chat to screen applicants for the April 17 event.
“Katy ISD wants to continue the tradition of conducting our job fairs in a personal manner where interested candidates can interact with principals. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we felt that a virtual approach was the best way to continue this individual interaction,” said Katy ISD Human Resources Coordinator Katye Shields. “Katy ISD is known as one of Texas’ premier school districts, and we continue to grow.”
KISD is planning to open Haskett Junior High School this fall and is seeking educators with current Texas teaching certifications or those who have completed all Texas Education Agency and State Board for Educator Certification exams required for the position they apply for.
Those seeking to apply will need to register for the event prior to attending. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 17. Click the link below to register:
