The Katy Independent School District will host two free golf clinics for students entering seventh, eighth and ninth grades in the fall, according to a notice in the April 17 newsletter from Adams Junior High School.

Katy ISD to hold free golf clinics May 13-14 for junior high students

The Katy Independent School District will host two free golf clinics for students entering seventh, eighth and ninth grades in the fall, according to a notice in the April 17 newsletter from Adams Junior High School.

At the clinics, attendees will be able to meet the coaches, as well as to work on their full swing, short game and putting. Players must have a KISD physical on file and bring their own clubs.

The events are scheduled from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The May 13 session is for junior high students who will be zoned to Tompkins High School, Cinco Ranch High School, Katy High School, Mayde Creek High School and Morton Ranch High School. The May 14 session is for junior high students who will be zoned to Jordan High School, Seven Lakes High School, Taylor High School, Paetow High School and Freeman High School.
