At UIL Regionals for golf, three Katy ISD golfers qualified for state, the district announced in an April 20 Facebook post.
Izabella Zimmerle, a junior from Cinco Ranch, took second place while Mayde Creek freshman Veronica Germain took third.
Jordan High School claimed the Regional Champion title.” It’s safe to say our district is swinging strong,” a district spokesperson said in the post. “Huge congratulations to these athletes and to Coach Lance Carter for leading the charge. State, here we come!”
