A Katy ISD bus attendant and two students were injured when their school bus was involved in a traffic accident with a METRO bus.
The accident occurred at about 7 a.m. March 8 at Kingsland Boulevard and Pickford Drive, the district said.
Harris County Precinct 5, Katy ISD Police and EMS responded to the incident. The bus attendant sustained an injury and was taken by Life Flight to a nearby hospital, where there was no immediate word on the attendant’s condition.
The district said two students sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to the hospital out of an abundance of caution.
The district said the remaining students on board the bus were released to their parents or transported by another bus to their respective campuses.
