Katy closes City Hall to the public
The city of Katy has closed City Hall to the public in order to mitigate health concerns presented by COVID-19.

In press release late Thursday, the city of Katy announced that it will be closing City Hall to the public. Access to city hall will be limited to city personnel only due to COVID-19 concerns, the press release said.
Those needing to conduct business with the city may follow the guidelines below:
Building plans may be submitted weekdays on the Avenue D side of city hall in the provided bin between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Inspections will continue to be conducted, but the public is advised to maintain social distancing and keep at least six feet away from the inspectors.
Pre-construction meetings will be conducted via conference call, if necessary.

Planning Department:
Plat packages may be dropped in the bin on the Avenue D side of City Hall between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. each weekday.
The completed package must include the appropriate payment method.
