The Katy Business Association, one of Katy’s oldest networking groups, is celebrating its 40th year in 2024. The group began the year with the installation of new officers at the January 24th meeting at Midway BBQ, 6025 Highway Blvd., Katy. The swearing-in was conducted by KBA member Skip Connor (left), who served as Katy’s mayor from 1991 to 1995. New officers are (left to right): Olivia Martin of KTX Window Cleaning, president; Sandra Ross of Angels Surviving Cancer, vice president; Toni Burns of Reimagine Benefits, secretary; Mildred Vegara of Spoken Learning, membership; Carrie Swinsinski of Glass Doctor, marketing; and John Kirk of The Well Counseling, treasurer. Connor also received a special award from KBA recognizing his 40 years of membership in the organization.
