The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Friday, May 7 at about noon, officers responded to a robbery of the Kroger grocery store at 1550 W. Grand Pkwy S. in the Katy area. Kroger staff reported a man wearing a face mask had come in and demanded money or he would “shoot up the place.”
Employees complied with the suspect’s demands and the suspect fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. Investigators believe two men were involved in the robbery. The first suspect is described as a male wearing a dark hoodie and black facemask. The second suspect is a male wearing a dark jacket, fluorescent traffic vest, white shirt and dark jeans. Both suspects left the scene in a blue four-door car.
FBCSO staff said Monday that investigators are still searching for the suspects.
