James Lyle Lemerond, 91, of Katy, was born Friday, October 17, 1930, in Green Bay, Wisconsin and passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022. On September 2, 1955, he married Mary Ann Gager, in Houston Texas. James has lived in the Katy area for 13 years, where he was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Lemerond. Surviving him are children, Mary Catherine Williams, Michael James Lemerond, Patricia Anne Donna, Teresa Louise Lemerond, and John Howard Lemerond; grandchildren, Maggie Anne Ball, Charles Theodore Donna, Jr., Brent James Williams, Rachel Renee Lemerond, Olivia Beatrice Horton-Gregg, Michelle Elizabeth Skinkle, Andrew James Lemerond, and Greta Paige Lemerond; as well as other loving family members and friends.

The family will hold a private viewing from 6:00-8:00PM on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at Katy Funeral Home, in the Brazos Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00AM on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 5356 11th Street, Katy, Texas 77493.
