Houston Methodist West Hospital dished out kindness as it celebrated its continued partnership with The Ballard House, a prominent community organization that provides temporary housing for individuals traveling to the Katy-West Houston area for medical treatment. A special event on July 20, 2023, commemorated the hospital’s generous $20,000 donation to the organization. The donation, to be spread out over five years, sponsors The Ballard’s House kitchen, which plays a vital role in creating a sense of comfort and community for its guests.
To celebrate, Houston Methodist West provided dinner and hospital staff served guests of The Ballard House. The event was attended by Wayne Voss, chief executive officer of Houston Methodist West Hospital, David Brown, executive director of The Ballard House and Houston Methodist West executive leaders and staff.
Last year, The Ballard House, provided temporary housing for 100 Houston Methodist patients.
