Katy Cares, a locally-based nonprofit which assists single parent families in the Katy area, is now a beneficiary of ShopAmericanCowboy on Etsy, Dawid J. Pieterse Katy Cares president, announced in a November 19 email to the Katy Times.

“Although we've shared this news far and wide, only nine items have been sold, benefiting single-parent families,” Pieterse said in the email. “To reach more supporters, the creative team has added an additional 75 new designs to offer a wider variety of styles and colors—more than 130 to choose from.”

“When you purchase any of the authentic T-shirts, caps, hats, or sweaters, 20% of the proceeds will support our Parenting Programs,” he added. “Please help spread the word and encourage your network to check out the shop. With so many great options, it's easy to find something you love—and make a difference while you do.” To shop the site, go to https://search.app/xKvZkYUeEpfmc5Ny9.

Katy Cares is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 2016 as a solution-driven response to the community’s most vulnerable population – single-parent families who are victims of trauma due to a life-altering event such as separation, divorce, abuse, intimidation, domestic violence, financial challenge caused by loss of employment, income, child support, and/or a natural disaster.
