Nine Houston-area Harmony Public School seniors – including one from Katy -- have been matched as 2025 QuestBridge National Scholarship program, the charter school system announced in a December 3 press release. Nahaar M., a senior at Harmony School of Innovation - Katy, has been matched for a full scholarship at California Institute of Technology, according to the school’s website. The campus is located at 21650 Bellaire in Richmond. The other eight students attend Harmony School of Innovation - Sugar Land, Harmony School of Advancement- Houston and Harmony School of Discovery - Houston, the release said. “These students have demonstrated that they are prepared to excel on their college campuses and beyond,” the press release said. “They will receive comprehensive scholarships to one of the nation’s top colleges, covering the total cost of attendance — including tuition, books, room and board, and additional expenses — for four years.” Roughly 30% of all QuestBridge finalists are awarded a full-ride scholarship. Remaining finalists may still receive substantial financial aid packages through the Regular Decision program. QuestBridge is a national nonprofit that connects the nation’s most exceptional, low-income youth with leading colleges and opportunities. Its mission is to increase the percentage of talented low-income students attending the nation’s top colleges and to support them as they pursue successful careers and contribute to their communities. Participating institutions include Rice University, Brown University, Emory University, the California Institute of Technology, Johns Hopkins University and Harvard University. The QuestBridge National College Match has connected more than 19,000 students with full scholarships at some of the nation’s best colleges. Through partnerships with top colleges, graduate schools and leading companies, QuestBridge supports its scholars as they work to achieve their full potential at every stage of life
