Gringo’s Mexican Kitchen opened at 230 W. Grand Pkwy. S. in Katy Nov. 10. The 9,800 square-foot Tex-Mex restaurant features a shortened menu at first which includes pollo Marisco, burritos con queso, fajitas and a popular green sauce among other dishes.
“To be able to open a new restaurant during a pandemic has been quite an adventure! Through it all, we’ve stayed focused on making progress and moving the project along,” said Gringo’s Mexican Kitchen Chief Marketing Officer Heather McKeon.
The restaurant will be able to serve 290 guests once the pandemic is done and seating capacity caps are removed, according to the press release. The restaurant, which is located at the Grand Crossing Shopping Center, features a vaulted ceiling, murals and a wraparound bar.
The restaurant is currently looking for multiple bussers, cooks, dish washers, hosts, servers and cashiers/to-go hosts, according to workatgringos.com/katy.
