The Blue Bell/Texas Sports Writers Association (TSWA) All-State teams honor top high school athletes in Texas, with separate classifications for baseball, football, softball, and volleyball. Blue Bell is represented in multiple classifications, including Class 4A football and 6A baseball.

The list of players named to the 6A baseball team was released to area publications on August 3.

Athletes from Katy ISD high schools who made the list included:

PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Keller senior Cole Koeninger is the player of the year on the Blue Bell/Texas Sports Writers Association Class 6A all-state baseball team.

The right-hander was 12-1 on the mound with a 1.13 earned run average with 138 strikeouts in 80 1/3 innings. The 6-foot-3, 213-pounder who signed with Tennessee also played shortstop, batting .432 with nine home runs and 30 runs batted in.
