The event, which will bring together ten couples, is part of the County Clerk's efforts to support and celebrate love, commitment, and the diverse families of Fort Bend County during one of the busiest marriage license seasons all year, the release said.
The ceremony will take place at the Travis Building in Richmond at 3:30 p.m. and will be officiated by the Honorable Judge Christian J. Becerra who has generously agreed to do the services for free. The Fort Bend County Clerk's office will also be on hand to assist with marriage licenses, ensuring the smooth completion of all necessary filing steps after the ceremony.
Clerk Richard said, "Valentine's Day is the perfect occasion to celebrate love in all its forms. I’m excited to witness this joyous occasion and to be part of a tradition that recognizes and supports the bonds that hold our community together."
