A flash flood watch has been issued for Waller, Fort Bend and Harris Counties by the National Weather Service, effective from 7 p.m. June 23 until the morning of June 24.
Strong thunderstorms are expected to develop over Southeast Texas this evening and slowly move eastward through Wednesday morning. Rainfall rates may reach one to three inches per hour or more at times. Heavy rain may flood roadways, including low water crossings.
A flash flood watch means conditions may lead to flash flooding. It is recommended you monitor your local forecast and be prepared to take action should flash flood warnings be issued.
