Katy Area Chamber of Commerce President Matthew Ferraro has been named to the Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives Board of Directors for the 2021 fiscal year, according to a TCCE press release. Ferraro has been in his position at the Katy Area chamber since April of 2019.
“I am excited to have Matthew Ferraro as a board member for TCCE this year. Matthew is an outstanding leader, innovator, and collaborator. I am fortunate to get the opportunity to work with Matthew these next 12 months,” said Steve Ahlenius, TCCE 2021 chairman.
Ferraro previously served the Fort Bend County business community through the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce. Since coming to Katy, he has focused on increasing membership and ensuring the Katy Area Chamber of Commerce provides networking, training and business opportunities for its members.
This year, TCCE will host events across Texas both virtually and in-person. Programs will include innovation, leadership, selling, small business development and other opportunities for chambers that are TCCE members.
“I’m looking forward to serving on the TCCE Board. It’s an honor to have been nominated and selected to serve on TCCE as we produce new programs and initiatives that can support chambers across the state,” Ferraro said.
