With much pomp and circumstance, Faith Academy held their annual Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony Monday night, May 20th. After the procession and a brief introduction by kindergarten teachers, Mrs. Melissa Little and Mrs. Kenna Kirkscey, the 21 students proudly recited their chosen Bible verse.
He said to them, “Let the children come to me and do not hinder them for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these,” Mark 10:14.
After delighting family and friends with songs, a poem, and an emotional slide show, the 21 kindergarteners then crossed the stage and received their diplomas.
Before the closing prayer and procession, the students locked arms and finished the evening with a rousing rendition of “First Grade, First Grade” sang to the tune of “New York, New York.”
The evening concluded with the graduates and their guests enjoying refreshments and fellowship.
