Bridgeland Harvest Farmer and Artesian Market Festival

Family fun with children’s activities. The festival begins at 11 a.m. Nov. 5 at 10519 Fry Road.

The Market at MKT Distillery

The Market at MKT Distillery has vendors for an afternoon of fun shopping. Admission is free. The event is from 2-6 p.m. at MKT Distillery, 5373 1st St.

Election Day

Veterans Whiskey Night and Networking Event

Share a night meeting veterans in the Katy area and have some drinks. All veterans and their families welcome. The first drink for all veterans will be covered by Katy’s very own Bugs Incorporated. The event is from 6-8 p.m. Nov. 11 at MKT Distillery, 5373 1st St.

Veteran’s Day event at Central Green

Diamond Rio, a Grammy Award-winning band, will perform at a Veteran’s Day event at Central Green. The show is from 5-8 p.m. Nov. 11 at Central Green, 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd.

Katy’s own Hayden Baker will open the show. The night will kick off with a history war bird flyover from Wings over Houston and feature speeches from veterans.

No glass or alcohol allowed.

KCM Community Food Fair at Parkway Fellowship

Join Parkway Fellowship and Katy Christian Ministries as they fight to end food insecurity in the Greater-Katy Area with our ongoing community food fairs. These events are aimed at feeding local families in their time of need and providing fresh produce to those in need.

America Recycles Day

A family fun market with a variety of vendors with farm products, artisan goods, food drinks and more. The market is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 24111 Stockdick School Road.

KCM Kids Fishing Tournament

Katy Christian Ministries hosts its first annual kids fishing tournament. The tournament will be from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Nov. 12 at Mary Jo Peckham Park, 5597 Gardenia Lane. The event, designed for children ages 17 and under, includes fishing, games, lunch, art, more fishing, class, and Italian ice. Admission is $20 per participant, with a discount for additional children. Proceeds benefit KCM. For more information, call KCM at 281-391-0003.

Christmas Gift Market

There is a little bit of everything and something for everyone, with prices ranging from as little as $5 and up to $2,000 and beyond. The market is from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 12-13 at the Katy ISD Agricultural Sciences Center, 5801 Katy Hockley Cut Off Road.

General admission is free and does not require advanced registration or tickets.

Katy Area Chamber of Commerce

Katy Market Day

The monthly Katy Market Day features vendors, a food truck, beer garden, entertainment, and inflatable attractions for children's entertainment. The event is from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. in historic Downtown Katy. For more information, call Betsy Proctor at 281-391-1993.

Katy Sip N Stroll

The 24th edition of the Katy Sip N Stroll, presented by Keller Williams and Kroger, is set for Nov. 19 at The ARK by Norris, 21402 Merchants Way.

The event features 35+ food tasting stations and other special event features, including two live music stages featuring Katy’s own Kristen Hart on the American Furniture Warehouse Back Lot Music Stage, and Shang and Byron’s 2 Man Band on the Party Stage.

The event also features a silent auction, wine pull and party raffle. Proceeds benefit The Ballard House, which provides temporary housing for those who are hospitalized or receiving treatment for serious medical conditions.

Sponsorship opportunities and restaurant registrations are still available.

General admission tickets are $65, Aruba VIP Zone tickets are $95. All tickets are all-inclusive, and attendance is limited. MKT Christmas Tree Lighting

Enjoy music, great cocktails and awesome spirits all within Katy’s historic rice dryers as we revive and continue the historic tradition of putting a Christmas Tree on the Rice Dryers.

Dusk is estimated at 5:23 p.m. and the tree will be lit around 6:45 p.m. MKT Distillery is at 5373 1st St.
