Dawn White Rejsek, 71, passed away on May 4, 2023 in Pattaya, Thailand. Dawn was born April 6, 1952 to Russell and Gertrude White in Bellaire, TX. The family moved to Katy, TX where she and her 3 siblings attended Katy High School and would spend most of her adult life. Dawn married Tony Rejsek on July 8, 1989 at the First United Methodist Church of Katy. Tony and Dawn were married for 33 years. They were excited about spending more time together after Tony's retirement just a week prior to her passing. Dawn had four sons, Rollie, Ace, Rory, and Rowdy, that she lived for. Her entire being was to love and provide for her family.
Her life continued to grow and fill with happiness when her grandchildren were born. She was affectionately called “Mammie” and Tony called “Popo” not only by their 11 grandchildren but anyone who was in their lives. Dawn’s favorite hobby was traveling to watch her grandchildren and other family perform in sports, pageants, FFA, and any other activity. She loved cheering on all her friends and family and cherished these memories. She always did her best to never miss an event for her boys or grandchildren.
Dawn never met a stranger. She could start a conversation with any person she met and that person would walk away feeling like her lifelong friend. The family has witnessed this with the tremendous support they have received from friends and family since her passing.
Dawn was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Gertrude White, and brother Rusty White. She is survived by her adoring husband, Tony Rejsek, her four sons and their families, Rollie Robertson and partner Jennifer Sullivan, Ace Robertson, Rory and Becky Robertson, Rowdy and Elizabeth Robertson. In addition; she is survived by her grandchildren, Brennan Robertson, Linsey and husband Kenny Waters, Rollie Daniel (RD), Ace, Ashton, Cash, Cayde, Axel, Dane, Dax, and Peyton Robertson, her sisters Laura Patton and Karen Carter, plus numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her devoted lifelong friends, Judy Burleson, Jodi Johnson, Debbie Tharp, Jo Ann Kittles and Leslie Johnson. Dawn will be missed by Monkey and Angel, her much beloved Shih Tzus.
