Seven Lakes High School was awarded first place overall at the April 20th Chili Cook-off by the panel of judges, as well as being named the fan favorite, and the team also nabbed the honors for best decorated booth. The sixth annual competition was hosted by the Katy Area Chamber of Commerce in the parking lot of American Furniture Warehouse, 500 Pin Oak in Katy. “We were able to donate $10,000 to the KISD FFA and had approximately 300+ in attendance,” said Ashley DeWispelaere, events manager for the chamber.
