Meet with Katy ISD departments and explore full- and part-time positions during the district’s Operations Job Fair on Saturday, Sept. 26 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Morton Ranch High School, 21000 Franz Road in Katy. Openings include bus drivers, custodians, grounds crews, general maintenance workers, food service staff and security guards. Recycle your electronics at Frost Bank Mason on Oct. 2
Come to Frost Bank’s Katy Financial Center at 21875 Katy Freeway in Katy on Oct.2 at 10 a.m. and bring all those old electronics taking up space in your home. Don’t forget the Katy Rice Harvest Festival Parade on Oct. 3
The Katy Rice Harvest Festival Parade – the prelude to the City of Katy’s legendary Katy Rice Harvest Festival – will be held October 3 beginning at 9 a.m. The parade is the Saturday before the Festival; the festival runs October 10-11 in Katy’s historic downtown square. The parade will start on East Avenue just
north of Fifth Street in Katy, then turn west on Fifth to Avenue A, where it will proceed to Second Street. The parade continues on Second Street to Avenue C, turning north at Katy’s City Hall and ending just before Tenth street.
