Solis Mammography expands access to breast cancer screening in Katy

Solis Mammography, the nation’s largest independent provider of breast screening and diagnostic services, has opened a new center is located at 24926 FM 1093, Suite B, in the Southpark at Cinco Ranch shopping center.

“Growing the number of convenient locations where patients can get mammograms lowers barriers to care and helps women prioritize their breast health,” Grant Davies, Solis Mammography CEO, said. “Increased access to care supports our mission of catching breast cancers as early as possible, adding years to our patients’ lives.”

Breast cancer often is detected through routine screening and is highly treatable if caught early through annual mammograms. Solis Mammography aligns with the American College of Radiology, the Society of Breast Imaging and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in recommending that women 40 and older with average risk of developing breast cancer get a mammogram every year. Annual mammography screening starting at age 40 is associated with the highest mortality reduction for average-risk women, allowing for the greatest number of lives saved and the most life years gained.

Solis Mammography is known for its compassionate, patient-focused approach to breast health and its robust advancements in screening, including 3D mammography with AI software integration, and SmartCurve comfort technology, which has been clinically proven to provide a more comfortable mammogram.
