George spoke of his accomplishments within the first 100 days in areas such as; working to ensure the efficiency of the court by establishing bi-weekly Commissioner’s Court meetings, opening the door to improving public infrastructure with a focus on drainage and mobility by hosting a county-wide discussion with the Texas General Land Commissioner Dr. Dawn Buckingham,  hosting the quarterly meeting for HoustonCIO, a peer group comprised of CIOs for various companies, governments, and organizations throughout the Greater Houston Area, established the county’s first Economic Development Department, leading the effort for broadband expansion in Fort Bend County, advocating for homeless youth, and celebrating the various cultures and ethnicities in Fort Bend County.

Before his presentation, George also expressed his gratitude to the community for its support and involvement in his efforts to improve the county.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to serve this community, and I am grateful for the support and engagement of its residents,” George said. “Together, we have accomplished much in our first 100 days, and I look forward to continuing our work to make Fort Bend County an even better place to live, work, and raise a family.”
