Katy’s city council met in a short ten-minute meeting on July 27 to consider approval of a 10/20 year write-off of property taxes for Fort Bend and Harris Counties in the amount of $46, 187.71. The measure passed in a unanimous vote. There was no discussion or elaboration.
Items approved via consent agenda were membership dues for the Waller County Economic Development Partnership and acceptance of a sanitary extension project along E. Third for Atlantic Petroleum Complex.
There were no other agenda items.
The next meeting of city council will be held on August 10 at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 901 Avenue C in Katy.
