Through the restaurant’s monthly “Celebrity Chef” event, Brett’s will raise money for causes designated by the celebrity chef of the month. Woytek’s charity is the American Cancer Society. Jacqueline Herrera, managing partner for Brett’s, said that 20 per cent of the proceeds raised during Woytek’s time as chef during the lunch rush will go to ACS.
Herrera said that the “celebrity chef” for January will be announced as soon as participation is confirmed.
