Ann Chapman passed away peacefully in her sleep July 23, 2020, at the young age of 96.
Ann is preceded in death by her loving husband, W. Norman Chapman, Jr., son, Warren N. Chapman, III, son in law, Michael Dailey, her parents, John and Agnes Vlasek and 10 siblings.
She is survived by five children, John Chapman (Kim), Barry Chapman (Jenny), Betty Cooke (Alan), Suzie Robinson (Steve) , Maggie Dailey, daughter in law, Joan Chapman and her brother, Louis Vlasek. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Ann will be remembered as a sweet, loving, gentle soul. Always the caregiver, she spent her lifetime in the service and care to her family and friends.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at St. Bartholomew the Apostle Catholic Church in Katy, TX and will be available virtually. Her ashes will be interned at Houston National Cemetery, at a later date, next to her beloved husband, Norman.
