Andretti Indoor Karting & Games celebrated its first anniversary on March 26 with a ribbon-cutting celebrating its joining of the Katy Area Chamber of Commerce and a rope-cutting to celebrate its participation in the Fulshear Katy Area Chamber of Commerce. Both chambers’ events were postponed last year due to COVID-19 according to a press release from the business.
“Andretti Katy opened on March 3, 2020 to rave reviews and large crowds just before the COVID-19 pandemic made its way to the United States. While the pandemic presented several challenges to the new location as well as the entire country, the Andretti team was constantly adapting to deliver a safe, clean, and fun experience to guests of all ages and is excited to commemorate a successful first year of operation,” the press release said.
Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is a climate-controlled arcade-style facility that includes indoor super-karts racing on multi-level tracks, an arcade with video games and other family fun attractions, laser tag arenas, bowling and mini-golf. It also features a restaurant with a full bar that serves more than 10,000 square feet of event and meeting space.
