Amber Gustafson, the owner of Amber’s Designs and Fine Jewelry in Katy, announced on August 12 the official groundbreaking for the store’s new building to be located at 5510 Roberts Road in Old Town Katy. The actual groundbreaking ceremony took place on May 29.

The new 5,200 square foot two story structure will feature an expanded jewelry showroom on the first floor with a large glass window showcasing master bench jewelers at work. The second floor will be dedicated to an additional jewelry studio workspace and corporate offices. The new facility will feature state of the art jewelry technology, as well as security features. Construction completion is scheduled for mid-year 2025.

Amber’s Designs, currently located at 722 Pin Oak, has been a well-respected business in Katy since 2001, known for its involvement and dedication to the community., Amber’s offers exceptional service with an emphasis on customer satisfaction, said a company representative in a press release. As a Master Jeweler, Ms. Gustafson’s and her team of 15 have won many jewelry design awards and her loyal customers have come to appreciate her high level of professional expertise. Gustafson has been a Bench Jeweler since 1979, is an active member of multiple state and national jewelry trade organizations and is presently serving as the President of The Texas Jeweler’s Association.
