After a quirky 2020 high school football season filled with drastic changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 season looks to return to normal come August.

Programs that did not participate in spring football can start practicing August 2. In Katy ISD, those programs are Tompkins, Mayde Creek and Jordan. The rest of the district will start practices on August 9.
