Katy Christian Ministries is seeking donations of school supplies for the nonprofit group’s annual “Red Apple” and “Happy Feet” programs. Over the past 30 years, The Red Apple Program has supported thousands of children, according to the KCM website, serving 1,392 students in 2023. “This year we hope to serve at least as many children, if not more,” the website said. KCM is also continuing ifs annual “Happy Feet” program, now in its fourth year, which provides all registered children with a new pair of shoes to start the school year off on the right foot.

The fundraising goal for both programs is $70,000.00. Donations may be made by mail, with checks payable to Katy Christian Ministries at KCM Red Apple Program, PO Box 986, Katy, TX 77492. In person donations may be made at KCM’s administrative office at 3506 Porter Road in Katy, Mondays through Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 to 5 p.m.
