Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner Lesley Briones will unveil the recommendations for "All in 4 Katy East: A Precinct 4 Community Plan" at a family-friendly event to be held at the Steve Radack Community Center on September 14 from 2 to 4 p.m. The Radack Community Center is located at 18650 Clay Road in Houston.

The free festivities will include food trucks, face painting, lawn games, Bollywood dancers, kids' crafts, and a balloon artist. The Precinct 4 Planning department will reveal recommendations for education and economic opportunity, infrastructure and sustainability, justice and safety and health. During this workshop – the third in a series -- the Harris County Precinct 4 Planning team will also seek input on the draft recommendations from the community.

All in 4 Katy East: A Precinct 4 Community Plan is approximately a nine-month process which started in the Fall of 2023 to set a shared vision that strives to enhance the quality of life for all residents within the study area, according to the county website. The plan covers a portion of the east part of the greater Katy area, south of Clay Road, west of Highway 6, east of Katy Fort Bend Road, and north of Cinco Ranch and the Barker Reservoir.
