Seven Lakes Haydan Erck was named the District 19-6A MVP for the second straight season, following a strong year where the Spartans won district and advanced to the regional quarterfinal round.
Erck had a great senior season leading the Spartans front line, and in the process broke the schools all-time goals recordr.
She was a huge part of Seven Lakes success this season and was joined by Maddie Rich on the superlatives list, as Rich was named the district’s goalie of the year to cap of her senior season. Rich was part of a Spartans defense that allowed just six goals throughout the entire season, she also broke the Seven Lakes all-time record for shutouts.
Seven Lakes head coach Kaitlyn Eidson was named the district’s coach of the year and Rebecca Romero was named the midfielder of the year to add to the Spartans honors.
Tompkins took home the districts other three awards, with Kayla Boven being named forward of the year, Grace Nyamapfumba being named the defender of the year and Rhegan Coombs being named the newcomer of the year. The Falcons also made a run to the regional quarterfinals after finishing second in district.
