The event, featuring an all-you-can-eat meal of fried catfish, hush puppies, potatoes, green beans, drink and dessert, was held at the Merrell Center, 6301 S. Stadium Lane in Katy, and drew 541 people and raised about $21,000 through the auctions for the KPOA, according to early estimates provided by the department.
