Combined Arms and Katy VFW Post 9182 are hosting “An Enduring Partnership,” a panel discussion designed to provide information for veterans and their families.

The panel discussion is free and scheduled for 2-4 p.m. April 23 at the Katy VFW Museum, 6206 George Bush Dr. A social hour will follow the discussion.

Panelists include Tyler Bambrick, Jason Borchik, Shaheen Essazay, Ramon Guzman, Ian Knowles, Earl Lundy III, Timothy Robinson and Colby Smith. Knowles is a Marine veteran, and the others are Army veterans. All served in “Operation Enduring Freedom” which began Oct. 7, 2001 in Afghanistan and ended with the Aug. 15, 2021 fall of Kabul, that nation’s capital.

According to its website, Combined Arms delivers technology solutions that improve quality of life for veterans and military families. The organization works to improve connections between active service members, veterans, and their families, and other military-connected individuals, and the social service organizations that can serve their needs. Through its community resource referral system, clients find needed resources and connect quickly and directly to service providers to get help to succeed in the areas of community, wellness, professional support, and essential services.

“We consider events like this a part of our core mission to educate our community regarding the legacy of the US military,” Col. Mike Mastrangelo said. “This is a perfect opportunity to do that. We’re thrilled to have the people that are coming and are confident that those who do will find the experience very worthwhile.”
