A number of Katy ISD players were named to both the Texas Association of Soccer Coaches Class 6A All-State and All-Region team, led by Seven Lakes, which sent both their boys and girls teams to the state tournament, with the boys team winning a state title.

“It’s soaked in a little bit,” Teagle said. “It’s been kind of crazy, everything has been a whirlwind but I’m soaking it in. I’ve learned over my career that you have to enjoy them all.
