On December 5, local event sponsors Venus Construction, Modern Pest Control and the Katy Heritage Society came together with Katy ISD to host a special event celebrating the outstanding achievements of the 2022-23 Campus Teachers of the Year. During this annual tradition – now in its thirteenth year -- 74 exceptional educators were honored with commemorative bricks personalized with their names. The bricks are on permanent display at Katy Heritage Park, 5990 George Bush Drive, Katy. Entertainment was provided by the Cinco Ranch Bravo Choir.

“Our teachers invest countless hours of time and energy into ensuring that every Katy ISD student receives the very best educational experience possible,” said Dr. Ken Gregorski, Superintendent of Schools. “These honorees have made a lasting impact in the lives of their students. Our community is proud of their commitment to excellence and congratulate them for their well-deserved recognition,” he added.
