Wondering what to wear to the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show when the 81st edition opens next spring in Katy?

Well, wonder no more.

The organization hosted “West to Wear at an Equestrian Affair” on October 15 at the Pavilion at NPO venue at 6000 Westview in Houston, with a parade of ensembles provided by the ETRO boutique in the Galleria area, which specializes in unique looks. Outfits featured fluid silhouettes in a wide variety of styles and fabrics from paisley to bolder patterns, from velvet to jacquard and from soft flowing dresses to structured blazers.

Lynn Walsh, who has served as President of The Pin Oak Charity Horse Show Association for over two decades, leading its mission to raise funds for Texas Children’s Hospital and other charitable causes, welcomed guests to the event. “Today is about fun, fashion and making an impact.” Attendees could purchase raffle tickets to help raise funds for the charity’s mission.

The charity recently donated over $287,000 to Texas Children’s Hospital for a breathing lab at the hospital’s West Campus; the upcoming year’s fundraising will support behavioral health issues, which have become increasingly important since COVID, Walsh said.
