Help MESA-OUTREACH to supply more than 850 students at six elementary schools in Katy ISD and CyFair with school supply packets, backpacks and more during the organization’s annual “Stuff the Bus” event.

Sponsors are needed at $25 per student in order to cover the cost of one student’s school supply packet. Also, in-kind donations of Kleenex, individually wrapped snacks are requested as follows: cookies, crackers, pretzels, cheese crackers, fruit snacks, popcorn, or granola bars – NO nuts or peanut butter allowed. New or gently used backpacks for Pre-K through fifth grade students are also needed.

Donations will be accepted online at mesa-outreach.org or checks payable to MESA-OUTREACH and designated for Stuff the Bus – Back to School Drive may be mailed to MESA-OUTREACH, INC. P.O. Box 841075 Houston, TX 77284-1075. For questions, please contact lisa@mesa-outreach.org.

Volunteers are also needed to gather donations at your work, church, or civic organization and to deliver these items to MESA-OUTREACH on or before Monday, August 12; on that day from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., volunteers are also needed to sort, count, load, and deliver supplies to each school’s campus.

MESA-OUTREACH has been helping children in need within the Katy community for over 11 years to start the school year with the supplies needed for their success.
