WorkFaith has announced the iWork Houston Hiring Expo Presented by Houston's First Baptist Church Downtown this Sept. 22 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This is an in-person hiring event designed to provide hope, build community, and connect job seekers with long-term employment, according to a Workfaith press release. As the workforce rebounds from the pandemic, it said, their focus is on "Hiring Houston and Getting Our City Back to Work."

“While the economy shows positive signs of recovery, there are still millions of people living in uncertainty and struggling to find employment,” said Manager of Corporate Partnerships Marisela Jimenez. “Many have become discouraged and stopped searching for work even when thousands of employers are actively hiring.”

“WorkFaith tirelessly continues to help job seekers,” continued Jimenez. “Our infinite mission is to provide faith-based training and coaching for anyone who desires long-term employment. We work with employers and listen to what they need in candidates, and we commit to a marketplace where work and faith connect.”

Job seekers can register for the iWork Houston Hiring Expo Presented by Houston's First Baptist Church Downtown HERE.

Employers can request to be a part of the event HERE.
